Instagram Ambassador/influencer (@vonachi.official) Is it legit or scam?

This is actually my FIRST TIME doing this collab so I am really ignorant about it. I will be just sharing my experience with this account.

So at first, this Instagram account name @Vonachi.official had DM me that they love my photos, etc, and would love to collaborate with me.

At that point in time, I feel that I wanted to give it a try as they said "All items are 100% free but you would have to pay for the shipping fee". As a first-timer, I thought it was quite a good deal and I decided to purchase it this year (should be around February-March). The shipping fee cost about $28?! (initially i thought it was $18 but $18 was in USD) =.= but it had 3 pieces of jewelry.

Until around May I still had not received an item and another buyer who purchased from this account DM me to ask whether I had received their item or not. (can't find the chat anymore, if I found it I will update again) and that was when I remembered I ordered and yet it still had not arrived. I DM the account and them but they initially LAST SEEN ME. So I thought it might be a scam and I was feeling quite scared at that point of time since I do paid for it.

Luckily, after that, they replied when I said I will file a report against them...

They give me a tracking website where I can track it myself however it was stuck one of the statuses for a very long time and in the end, it is stated 'returned.

After which they told me they couldn't refund me but it is clearly stated that I did not receive the parcel in the tracking system and it is definitely returned back (assuming returned back to them).

I do understand it might take a long time because it is when the COVID-19 happens and countries are starting to lockdown. However, the point is they told me they cannot do anything despite it is returned to them? So it's like telling me I am paying my money and yet receiving nothing.

Luckily they offered me to reorder the item again.

True enough, I waited for about 7-8 months and I received the item. I must say that their customer service is better than the one I'm having issue now. At least they offered me to reorder with $0 fee. (I'm pretty sure it's a given.)

BUT, the item I received really sucks. It is more like a $4 kind of jewelry.

The first product, Star Earring

And this is what I got? So rusty. I don't even know if it's been used or not.

The second product is a dove bracelet. In the photo itself, it really seems very elegant and nice.

What I get is pretty decent HOWEVER, it was too big? Like I had already chain until the end but it was so ridiculously big?

Lastly, the last item was suppose to be a choker.

But yet what I received was not a choker? It was a long necklace LOL. Look at how rusty it is?

Sadly, this transaction wasn't made with Paypal otherwise I can get my money back. I am trying to contact the bank to see whether I can get my money back since I received such a junk item.

In conclusion, I really want to reinforce to everyone that please do not blindly believe these Instagram ambassador or those looking for influencer/collab. Because highly likely it is a scam. I do have a tip/way to determine whether it is a scam or it seems pretty legit. I really hope that you don't be blind by fame etc ! Don't be another victim like me!
