Instagram Ambassador/influencer (@greeked) / Greeked Glasses is it legit or scam?

Anyone who is actually viewing this article is definitely either curious because they had Instagram DM you or either you just simply want to know if there is such a good thing in the world? This is my second time being 'scam' LOL, my first time was still resolved quite well. This was the worst.

This is how it started for me...

at first, they actually leave a comment on my post saying to DM them for collaborations because they love my photos, etc.

So you could say that I am dumb (i really am) but I visited their Instagram and saw they have such a huge amount of followers and visited the section where influencers tagged them and I saw it was pretty decent. I also looked up information on youtube and google and I see it was actually quite legit. Which was why I decided to purchase it.

I purchased it in around midnight and initially I actually linked the wrong card/bank and accidentally confirm it (which I wanted to click cancel) but it was already confirmed. (I also wanted to change the order too because I saw another item which matches me better than the one I originally bought). So I Instagram DM the account and they told me to email them instead. Alright fine, I emailed.

The email then replies saying that I do not have to cancel but they can change the order for me instead.

BUT, it was not just about the wrong order but also the wrong card/bank that was my first priority. So I emailed them back again and I was afraid of them shipping out the items out so I was a bit anxious and urge them to reply as soon as possible. However, there was no reply at all so I Instagram DM the account instead. At first, they told me to email them which I already did. But because their email is very slow so I think that it is faster to deal on Instagram instead.

HOWEVER, that account kept on LAST SEEN ME. So I spam quite a lot and in the end, I was really frustrated as I was thinking why is it so hard to just cancel that order for me? So my thought linked to them not wanting to cancel the order for me because I had paid and automatically probably a 'scam'. So I told them that I will report this account and probably create awareness so that people don't fall for them. And wow they replied! (Seems that they only replied because they are afraid their reputation will get affected)

They clearly said that they already raised this concern so I thought like okay since they already knew it they probably won't ship out the items?

In the meantime when they last saw me, I texted PayPal (I use PayPal to pay so it's much safer). They told me to email the seller to see if they can cancel for me first before I file a dispute with Paypal. I'm like okay as long as I can cancel the order I really don't mind waiting.

And then hah! I received the email saying my item is on the way?! I was really angry at that point in time, they told me they are already aware of it? And they want me to wait for 3-5 business days (Which is ridiculous? Just helping to cancel an order had to wait for so long?) and now they ship my item out while in the meantime asking me to 'keep quiet' ?!

I had texted Paypal again and also DM the account but the same using the last seen method.

I urge anyone of you if you received any Instagram comments or DM asking you to collab or giving you free items and then you promote for them please please please look up for them and not blindly agreeing to it. I have a way to determine whether they are legit or scam after a few experiences.

So in conclusion, I can't really say it is a scam but it is another way of 'scam' which they target small influencers (or those who want to be an influencer) to help them promote for free. But I can say that their customer service really sucks. To me, it seems that they DO NOT want to cancel my order because this means they will have one less order.
